The Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) are approaching fast. For the 2020 edition, postponed to 2021 (from July 24 to August 8) because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Brazil has just unveiled, a few minutes after revealing Tite’s list for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the list of 23 players selected by André Jardine to prepare, in June, the Olympic tournament that will take place in the land of the rising sun.
Bruno Guimaraes (23 years old) has been called and will play the last preparations before the Olympic Games next summer, while Neymar (29 years old, PSG), who will play the Copa America with Tite’s Brazil and who had shown his desire to participate in the Tokyo Olympics, will watch from afar. Names well known to football fans as Reinier (19 years), Rodrygo (20 years), Gabriel Martinelli (19 years), the former player of LOSC Lille Gabriel Magalhães (23 years) or the ex-Bordelais Malcom (24 years), who is, with Guilherme Arana (24 years) and Luiz Felipe (24 years), among the three players over 23 years per selection allowed to play in the Olympics, are also present in this list.
