Barcelona are not giving up their desire to bring star player Neymar back from Paris Saint-Germain, who left the Camp Nou in the summer of 2017 for a record €222 million.
According to Marca, the signing of the 29-year-old Brazilian is a personal initiative by Blues-Grenadines president Joan Laporte, who sees the move as a good reason to keep captain Lionel Messi in the team.
However, so far, the wishes of Barcelona’s management do not match reality. The fact is that Laporta cannot find the necessary economic formula for Neymar’s return due to his high salary.
It is worth noting that several sources previously reported on PSG’s upcoming contract extension with Neymar, under which the player will earn €30 million per year.
